About Matt
Hi, I’m Matt Phillpott, welcome to my website!
I’m a freelance educator, with a passion for helping people to improve themselves through learning and teaching. With nearly a decade and a half of experience creating and designing learning experiences from online courses to workshops. I offer practical and enjoyable solutions for online, hybrid, or face-to-face teaching.
I’m also a researcher and writer…
Way back in 2009 I successfully defended a Ph.D thesis, which focused on a sixteenth-century revisionist history of the reformation. Since then I have become interested in questions of how knowledge was taught in print during the early modern period, particularly practical skills such as beekeeping. I continue to research, write and learn, examining questions of how we learn, and how we teach.
